Carl Treadway VII is a Monster Hunter. It is his life. He comes from a long line of Carl Treadways and a long line of monster hunters. He is on a mission to avenge the deaths of all the Carl Treadways that came before him who lost their lives hunting down monsters of the night. With the love and support of his beautiful wife Janet Treadway and now being followed by a documentary film crew, we follow Carl on his dangerous and epic hunts.

The hunt for Big Foot is on and Carl has zeroed in on his location. With the doucmentary film crew in toe, Carl vows to find and do something remarkable to Big Foot. What is that? You’ll have to watch and find out if Carl puts Big Foot on ice once and for all.

I cannot believe I forgot to post this as soon as it became available, but when I was out for a couple weeks in the Kansas/Oklahoma area, my mind got a bit bent and melted.  So, please forgive me.  While I was out there, this live episode of WTF became available.  I have been lucky enough in my career to do a lot of cool stuff and this is tops on the list.  WTF is a must listen podcast hosted by Marc Maron for anyone who claims to love stand up comedy or comedy in general.

You should definitely check it out, as it has some of the best interviews with anyone from the world of comedy who has helped shaped the landscape in the past 25 years.  The list just keeps growing and becoming more impressive and the fact that I can add my name to the list of guests is a bit mind blowing.  But, I will definitely take it.  I hope you enjoy it.

This episode is considered to be a “premium” episode, which means you have to pay for it.  Why?  Because it is just that damned good.  That is why.  It costs less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks and this will last you an hour.  That caffeine rush is gone after 30 minutes.

There is a lot of footage that you will not see in this video, you will catch only a glimpse of our hate date on Jared Leto.  In all honesty, I had an absolute blast shooting this thing even though I genuinely had to shit my pants almost the whole time I was there.  That was no joke.

Maybe someday Matt and I will reunite and we continue hating on Joey Chestnut and Jared Leto and maybe on that fateful day, we will have a camera recording our intense hatred.

I’m in Wichita, Kansas, as I write this and am having a blast working with some funny dudes.  Check out Gabriel Rutledge when you get a chance.  Also, working with Dan Skaggs.  He is NOT related to Boz, so settle down.  We are playing a fun game in the condo this weekend that is in such poor taste it is even too extreme for me to post on this website.  I will let you use your imagination, it starts something like this:

“Take off your _____ and stay awhile.”

The fill in the blank line is a word that you would never call a woman.  From there it turns into a game where that word is used in place of everything.  Grown men, doing grown men things.  Life on the road.  I will be in Indianapolis next weekend, yo!  At Crackers Comedy Club in Broad Ripple with Ryan Stout.  Talk about good times coming.

Is this the truth of Studebaker Pie?  One thing is for certain, the only I can tell is that the mystery of Studebaker Pie has only become more complex and what I thought was over, has only just begun.

Here is another acceptance speech video I have made for an award I was nominated for at the 2010 Rooftop Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado.  This award is the “Golden Shingle” and goes to “a rising star in stand up comedy.”  If you can believe it, although it goes against the pattern already established, I won this award.  I fancied myself the Martin Scorcese of comedy awards and he eventually won, so I guess it is fitting even though I was only ever nominated for a couple of them and he was nominated for many, many awards over years and years of brilliant work.  So, the comparison kind of breaks down immediately in that way.  Thanks to Geoff Tate and his wife, Lauren for helping make the video.

Also, thanks to Rooftopcomedy for a fantastic weekend! What a blast it was hanging in Aspen and meeting a lot of new friends and seeing some old ones. Maybe I will details some of the crazy stuff that happened in a future blog? hmmm….

Here is the final (for now) Biz Guy “Clean This” spot that we shot on those fateful days in March.  Oh, the times!  As you can probably tell if you have been watching the previous episodes, I had pretty darn tootin’ time filming these.  It was a loosey-goosey kind of environment where I was allowed to improv and go crazy without being too adult.  Maybe if more than 54 people watch these videos, they will choose to shoot some more.

Episode #5 – “Spaghetti”

The third time is the charm they say.  I am not quite sure what they are saying that about and how it in any way relates to me posting the third video in the “Biz Guy” series that I did earlier this year, but I used it anyway.  I am sitting in a hotel in Lexington, KY, as I post this latest video and just want to say for the record that I love this town.  It is beautiful here.

The club is called Comedy Off Broadway and they put you in a proper hotel and the staff is awesome.  These are the weeks that make me realize that I indeed have the best job/career/life I could have possibly asked to get.  So, thanks for that.

That is not say that making these videos was not equally fun.  Because I had an absolute blast making them and I think you can tell that we had fun in the finished product.  You can, right?  No?  Look harder damn it.  There you go.  Now you see.  Good.

Episode #3 – “Shaving”

Here is the second of five different spots I did for Biz Stain Fighter.  These videos are going to become a viral success of runaway and epic proportions, so get in on the ground floor, people!  This one is an episode in which I take on chocolate stains.  You should know a few things about this going in:  I do NOT like chocolate and am willing to rise above my personal tastes and do what I need to do for money.  I will do almost anything for money.  I need money.  Do you have money?  Do you want to give me some of it?  I will gladly take it from you.

These were really fun to make and maybe we will be making more of them?  I am not quite sure, but I am sure that if we do, I will enthusiastically be on board with the decision.

Episode #2 – “Chocolate Pie”

I think this episode not only shows my incredible range as an actor, but it also shows that I have a high tolerance for pain and can work well with people that are not real.  These are all very admirable qualities and things that were never emphasized enough in my schooling as tangible life tools.  I hope you continue to enjoy these videos and we shall patiently await the next ones, I suppose.

Here is the first installment of some internet commercials I did for Biz Stain Fighter.  I am the Biz Guy and I love nothing more than getting dirty so I can get clean.  There are five total commercials and I think that they are pretty good.  I will give you a little back story to these:

The script was very loose as you could probably tell after watching the video.  It was pretty much just a bare bones idea and they let me have free reign of the meaty party of dialogue (with some exceptions, obviously).  Some people may say I have sold my artistic integrity down the river for a few bucks and I say to them, “What artistic integrity do you speak of, dear friend?”

When you are 33 years old and sleep on a futon mattress on the floor of a friend’s condo, there is not much that is not for sale.  Indeed.  I am being overly dramatic as I am cracked out on a 7 Eleven coffee right now.  No joke.  If you could see my jaw right now.
