When my roommate Jeff and I both have a day off and we’re both home, we usually take his camera out into the general public and film something that can at many times make people uncomfortable or stare at us. This is a video I made for Rooftop Comedy this year, you may remember I did one last year.  I hope you like it and Happy

Holidays to everybody.  I am going to be writing a new letter to Santa in the next week as the one I wrote last year was very successful.  Also, I will be updating the site more in the next couple weeks with great news about Flick My Clip 3 and other holiday shows I will be doing.

Also, one way or the other there will be a super sweet thing coming soon, too!  Trust me when I say that it will be my most cool thing ever.  At least in my own brain.  And I will clarify and qualify what “cool” means at a later time.  Here’s the video:

Here is another acceptance speech video I have made for an award I was nominated for at the 2010 Rooftop Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado.  This award is the “Golden Shingle” and goes to “a rising star in stand up comedy.”  If you can believe it, although it goes against the pattern already established, I won this award.  I fancied myself the Martin Scorcese of comedy awards and he eventually won, so I guess it is fitting even though I was only ever nominated for a couple of them and he was nominated for many, many awards over years and years of brilliant work.  So, the comparison kind of breaks down immediately in that way.  Thanks to Geoff Tate and his wife, Lauren for helping make the video.

Also, thanks to Rooftopcomedy for a fantastic weekend! What a blast it was hanging in Aspen and meeting a lot of new friends and seeing some old ones. Maybe I will details some of the crazy stuff that happened in a future blog? hmmm….

Here is the Underbelly skitch that Butch Wesley and I performed last year.  We performed it again to record it for a sketch comedy contest all of us from Underbelly are entering in for the Friar’s Club in New York City.  I am glad to be a part of it as it is pretty darn funny.  The concept was Butch Wesley’s and we had a lot of fun with it.  Let’s hope we can perform it live at the UCB Theater in NYC once our group’s submission makes the top 5 in this contest.

This is the video that some company that rents homes rejected as a website promo and/or advertising for their company that Mike Cronin and I put together. I think it is funny and that they probably just do not have a good sense of humor. But, then again, maybe it doesn’t quite hit their target demographic? What do you think? For the record, people wearing ties as a rule should not be making creative and/or comedy content decisions. Also for the record, I have no way of knowing if whomever rejected this video was actually wearing a suit and tie at the time. Maybe it was a pants suit instead? I just like proving to myself that people in suits do not share the same vision of comedy that I have. Will I ever be mainstream? Aren’t I already? Truth be told, I’m having too much fun doing what I am doing right to even worry about that. I hope you like the video and keep in mind that my exciting new docu-web series will be premiering very soon! Maybe it should be doc-web series?
